Gravion
I was not expecting this series to be as good as it is! Season 1 is super pleasant and enjoyable. It's fun episodic shit with monster of the week formatting. The characters are fun and silly and it's nice to see them interact and fuck around. Their personalities are soooo fun. But god, season 2 was CRAZY.
It starts off introducing new characters in episodic silly format but then it starts hitting you with twist after twist and reveals after reveals. The entire lore for this show is incredibly JRPG and makes me call it PS2 media. The way it drops the entire Sandman backstory makes him incredibly interesting. The villain was incredibly cool and the whole final battle was insane. It was SOOOOOO JRPG I enjoyed it sooo much. Haven't had this much fun in a while I was genuinely hyped up for everything. Everything was so appealing to me specifically it was a joy.
This show has a little bit of something for everyone so I think it's a pretty good recommendation to casual anime fans. Really fun.
