Baldur's Gate 1 - Part 1
I'm on chapter 2 currently and I am getting my ass beat by every encounter!!! I'm playing on easy mode too. I have come to the realization that you cannot progress in this game as fast as a JRPG where you're constantly making progress (this is my first CRPG with combat). I will take my time and backtrack more between fights to heal myself up and the like.
I got to the mines and the boss is destroying me with all the enemies that attack me! I haven't tried any of the non-damaging spells yet cause again, this is my first CRPG. But next time I play I'm gonna try to get some of my guys to level 2 and then utilize some status spells to help me survive more _
I also realized it was kind of a mistake to make my entire party custom guys that I'm friends with cause the game is constantly throwing party members at you. Next time I play this game I'll only make the protag and recruit other guys.
Also for class distribution and stat distribution I kind of went with some random choices because I don't know anything about D&D. I hope I can finish the game without having to restart the run !!
