7th Saga - Part 3
I have reached the point where I can no longer go further without grinding, because Valsu dies in 1 hit from every enemy I'm fighting right now. I just arrived to Dowaine. I met Esuna there and I wanted to recruit her again instead of Valsu, cause I know you get better bonuses when you recruit a character later but she just wanted to fight me T_T Loaded my save and avoided her cause I didn't want to kill her (I like her) and I'm hoping I see her again soon so I can try recruiting her again.
I've read that the first third of the game in the localized version is the only part that's actually well balanced and challenging in a way that's fun. I'm not inclined to agree juuuust yet but it sucks that I have to grind so much now before I can keep progressing. Grinding is also a chore with the balancing the localized version has because I cannot do much damage to enemies as Wilme without Valsu buffing my attack. I use the attack buff for every single fight. Which is fun when you're progressing the story but not when you're grinding.
